Voters of Tomorrow is a political movement for young people and by young people. With the guiding goal of building youth political power, Voters of Tomorrow has a presence in over 25 states and volunteers in all 50. Backed by extensive research on Gen Z, we’re taking the issues Gen Z cares about most into the rooms where decisions get made. Through extensive advocacy, on-the-ground and online organizing, and a nationwide network of Gen Z organizers and activists, we’re making sure that as the most diverse generation, we are represented and spoken for.

Job Summary

The Chapters Director will report to the Executive Director. They will support the work to envision and execute our Chapters program to provide consistent support and coaching to our state and local chapters and develop national initiatives and campaigns through chapters while enhancing capacity on the state and local levels. This is a full time and remote position. The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000/year.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the Chapter Catalyst Team to onboard and coach local chapters.
  • Work with the state leads to strategize and support statewide initiatives and recruitment.
  • Develop and implement national issue-based and electoral campaigns with chapters to leverage their local impact and build volunteer capacity.
  • Design training and resources to empower youth leaders to deepen impact and grow leadership capacity.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment to empower chapters in their initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective partnerships across state and national initiatives.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities to support the overall functioning of the Executive team as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall organizational goals.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience in grassroots organizing, chapter development, volunteer management, and leadership roles. Two cycles of experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading and motivating diverse groups.
  • Familiarity with legislative advocacy and collaboration with advocacy teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience organizing youth voter participation and ability to communicate with youth audiences.
  • Passion for youth empowerment, civic engagement, and advancing the organization's mission.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and capacity building within organizational structures.
